Dahle North America is a fully integrated manufacturer
and distributor of Business Machines and Office Products with

Dahle North America is closely affiliated to the Dahle
Company of Coburg, Germany.
Founded in 1930, Wilhelm Dahle & Co.
began manufacturing cutters for pencil sharpeners. Dahle concentrated
on "Pencil Sharpeners" almost exclusively for the next thirty
years. By early 1960's, Dahle was the world leader in pencil
sharpening and lead pointing technology.
In 1961, Dahle developed the very successful
guillotine paper cutter line, recognized world wide as the
pinnacle of manual paper cutting construction. In 1979, shears
and scissors were made part of the Dahle product family. Carrying
on the tradition of quality - the shears were and are considered
the finest in the industry. 1976 brought the development of
the very successful and world renowned Dahle rotary paper
trimmers. In 1984, Dahle ventured into the highly competitive
paper shredding market. Once again the Dahle Shredder is accepted
as the industry standard for quality and heavy duty construction,
while still maintaining extremely competitive pricing. From
these humble beginnings Dahle has become a multi-million dollar
organization with a comprehensive portfolio of products. Besides
Germany and the United States, Dahle has distributors in Australia,
Holland, Japan, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
